داوود عليه السلام‏ لَمّا مَرَّ بِإسكافٍ: يا هذا اعمَلْ ‏و كُل، فَإنَّ اللّهَ يُحِبُّ مَن يَعمَلُ و يَأكُلُ، ولا يُحِبُّ مَن يَأكُلُ ولا يَعمَلُ.

Prophet David (AS), when he walked past a shoemaker said, 'O person, work and eat, for Allah loves the one who works and eats [from the labor of his own hands], and does not love those who eat and do not work.'

Abu l-Ḥusayn Warrām b. Abī Firās b. Ḥamdān al-Mālikī al-Nakhaʿī al-Ḥillī (Arabic: أبو الحسين ورٌام بن أبي فراس بن حمدان المالكي النخعي الحلي) (b. ?, d. 605/1208) was a jurispt and muhaddith in the sixth/twelfth and early seventh/thirteenth century. Tanbih al-khawatir wa nuzhat al-nawazir was significant work written by Warram b. Abi Firas which made him famous.
