Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as): When you wake up in the morning and before you go to sleep at night say ten times: "O Allah, whatever blessings I have been given or the soundness of my religion and the well being of my worldly life are all from You, You are One, with no partner, and all praise is due to You, and I must thank you for all that until You are pleased and even after You are pleased." And once you have said this, you have thanked Allah for the blessings He has given you on that day and its night. al-Kāfī
