The Prophet Muhammad (S): The Prophet (SAWA) said [to his companions]: 'It is incumbent upon every single Muslim to give charity every day.' When they exclaimed who would be capable of such a thing, he replied, ‘[Charity does not always involve spending money, so] Your removal of an obstacle from a pathway is an act of charity; your guiding someone to the right path is an act of charity; your visiting the sick is an act of charity; your enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong are acts of charity; and your returning someone’s greeting is an act of charity.’ Biḥār al-Anwār
