Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as): Whoever memorizes forty traditions [hadiths] from our (i.e. Ahl al-Bayt) traditions, Allah will raise him on the Day of Resurrection as a learned jurist and a scholar. Biḥār al-Anwār
