Imam al-Sajjad (as): Allah will ask one of His servants on the Day of Resurrection, ‘Did you thank x?’, and the servant will reply, ‘No, but I thanked You instead, O Lord.’ Allah will reply, 'You have not thanked Me because you did not thank him.' al-Kāfī
