Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as): Verily Allah created Islam, and He set for it a territory, light, a fortress and supporters. So its territory is the Quran, its light is wisdom, its fortress is righteousness, its supporters are me, my Ahl al-Bayt and our Shi'a [followers].
