: One who seeks Allah, Mighty and Exalted, with few good deeds, Allah will count his few deeds as abundant [in terms of the reward] . And one who seeks people['s approval and admiration] with a great deal of deeds, exhausting his body and keeping vigil at night, Allah will make his abundant deeds seem insignificant in the eyes of those who hear about them.
