Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as): No sooner does a servant raise his hands to God, the Mighty, the Omnipotent, in supplication than God is ashamed to return them empty and He places in them what He wills out of His grace. So whenever any of you is done supplicating to God, he should not return his hands until he robs them over his face and head. al-Kāfī
