Imam al-Kazim (as): When he was asked about the verse, ‘And whoever puts his trust in Allah, He is sufficient for him.’, Imam al-Kazim (as) said, Trust in Allah has different stages; that you put your trust in Allah in all your affairs, and be pleased with whatever He might do about you, and that you know that He never withholds any good and favor from you, that the decree in it belongs to Him, thus, you must trust in Allah by handing your affairs over to Him, and trust Him in them and in anything else. al-Kāfī
