Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as): I asked Abu Abdillah (AS) about a man who trades but he can make the same money by working for someone else. he said, he should not work for someone else. rather he must seek Allahs bounty and engage in trading. for by working for someone else he restricts Allahs bounty for him. al-Kāfī
