الإمام جعفر الصادق (عليه السَّلام ):
عن عمّارِ السّاباطيِ: قلتُ لأبي عبدِاللّهِ عليه السلام: الرّجُلُ يَتّجِرُ، فإنْ هُو آجَرَ نَفسَهُ اعطِيَ ما يُصِيبُ في تجارتِهِ، فقالَ: لا يُؤاجِرْ نفسَهُ، ولكنْ يَسترزِقُ اللّهَ عزّ وجلّ ويَتَّجِرُ، فإنّهُ إذا آجَرَ نفسَهُ حَظَرَ على نفسِهِ الرِّزْقَ.
'Ammar al-Sabatï a dit : J'ai dit à l'imam al-Sàdiq (as) : «Un homme peut faire du commerce [seul], cependant, s'il le fait au service de quelqu'un, on lui donne la même chose que ce qu'il gagne s'il le fait seul [quelle solution est préférable ?].» Il (as) répondit: «Il ne doit pas se mettre au service de quelqu'un [s'il peut faire le même travail seul], mais qu'il implore Allah le Tout-Puissant pour sa subsistance puis qu'il fasse du commerce, car s'il est au service de quelqu'un, il limite sa propre subsistance.»

Abū Jaʿfar, Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb b. Isḥāq al-Kulaynī Al-Rāzī (Arabic: ابوجعفر، محمّد بن یعقوب بن اسحاق الرازی) (c. 255/868-9 - 329/941) was among the greatest Shi'a hadith scholars and the author of al-Kafi, the most authentic Shi'a hadith collection and one the Four Books. He was born after the martyrdom of Imam al-'Askari (a), at the time of Imam al-Mahdi (a) and met some hadith transmitters who directly had heard hadiths from Imam al-Hadi (a) and Imam al-'Askari (a). It is said that al-Kulayni was very accurate in transmitting hadiths. Ibn Qulawayh, Muhammad b. Ali Majilawayh al-Qummi, Ahmad b. Muhammad al-Zurari were among his students.
