يا بُنَيَّ، ثِقْ باللّهِ عَزَّوجلَّ ثُمّ سَلْ في النّاسِ: هَل مِن أحَدٍ وَثِقَ باللّهِ فلَم يُنجِهِ؟! يا بُنَيَّ، تَوَكَّلْ علَى اللّهِ ثُمّ سَلْ في النّاسِ: مَن ذا الّذي تَوَكَّلَ علَى اللّهِ فلَم يَكفِهِ؟!

ask people: "Is there anyone who relies in Allah and He does not save him?!"

مَن لَم يُخِفْ أحَداً لَم يَخَفْ أبداً.

The one who does not frighten anyone will never fear.

إنَّ أبخَلَ الناسِ مَن بَخِلَ بِالسلامِ.

The most miserly of all people is he who withholds his greeting.

إنَّ مَن لَيس علَيهِ دَيْنٌ مِنَ َ النّاسِ أروَحُ وأقَلُّ هَمّاً مِمَّن علَيهِ الدَّينُ وَ إنْ أحسَنَ القَضاءَ، وَ كذلكَ مَن لَم يَعمَلِ الخَطيئةَ أرْوَحُ هَمّاً مِمَّن عَمِلَ الخَطيئَةَ وَ إنْ أخْلصَ التّوبَةَ وَ أنابَ.
