مامِن أحَدٍ يَموتُ مِن المؤمنينَ أحَبَ ‏إلى إبليسَ مِن مَوتِ فَقيهٍ.

الإمام علي (عليه السَّلام):
فاعتَبِرُوا بما كانَ مِن فِعلِ اللّهِ بِإبليسَ؛ إذ أحبَطَ عَمَلَهُ الطَّويلَ وجَهدَهُ الجَهِيدَ (الجميلَ) و كانَ قد عَبَدَ اللّهَ سِتَّةَ آلافِ سَنَةٍ، لايُدرى أمِن سِني الدُّنيا أم مِن سِني الآخِرَةِ عن كِبْرِ ساعَةٍ واحِدَةٍ.
