الإمام الكاظم (عليه السَّلام):
تَفقَّهُوا في دِينِ اللّهِ، فإنَ الفِقهَ مِفتاحُ البَصيرَةِ، وتَمامُ العِبادَةِ، والسَّببُ إلَى المَنازِلِ الرَّفيعَةِ والرُّتَبِ الجَليلَةِ في الدِّينِ والدنيا، وفَضلُ الفَقيهِ علَى العابِدِ كَفَضلِ الشَّمسِ علَى الكواكِبِ، ومَن لم يَتَفَقَّهْ في دِينِهِ لم يَرضَ اللّهُ لَهُ عَمَلًا.
La prééminence du savant en religion vis-à-vis du dévot est semblable à la préeminence du soleil par rapport aux autres astres; et Allah n agréera aucun acte fait par celui par celui qui ne s instruit pas dans la religion.

There are two works attributed to al-Harrani; al-Tamhis and Tuhaf al-'uqul fi ma ja' min al-hikam wa l-mawa'iz min Al al-Rasul.
