Imam Ali (as):
Allah, the Glorified, has fixed the livelihood of the poor in the wealth of the rich, so no poor person goes hungry except that it is because some rich person has denied (him his share), and Allah, the Sublime, will question them about it.

Imam Ali (as):
Certainly, Allah, the Sublime, has made it obligatory on true leaders that they should maintain themselves at the level of low people so that the poor are not disturbed by their poverty.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
Imam al-Sadiq (AS) narrated, In an intimate conversation that Allah had with Prophet Moses (AS), He said, Do not envy anyone for having excessive wealth, for with excessive wealth sins increase in [trespassing] obligatory rights.
