الإمام علي (عليه السَّلام):
مَن زَهِدَ في الدنيا، ولم يَجزَعْ مِن ذُلِّها، ولَم يُنافِسْ في عِزِّها، هَداهُ اللّهُ بغَيرِ هِدايَةٍ مِن مَخلوقٍ، وعَلَّمَهُ بغَيرِ تَعلِيمٍ، وأثبَتَ الحِكمَةَ في صَدرِهِ وأجراها على لِسانِهِ.
Celui qui a renoncé aux plaisirs de ce monde sans se préoccuper de sa bassesse ni rivaliser pour sa gloire sera guidé par Allah sans besoin de la guidance d une créature, Il lui accordera le savoir sans besoil1 d étudier, Il ancrera la sagesse dans sa poitrine et IlIa répandra sur sa langue.

Al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. al-Ḥusayn b. Shuʿba al-Ḥarrānī (Arabic: الحسن بن علی بن الحسین بن شعبه الحرَّانی) is a Shi'i hadith compiler. His major work on hadith is Tuhaf al-'uqul. There are two works attributed to al-Harrani; al-Tamhis and Tuhaf al-'uqul fi ma ja' min al-hikam wa l-mawa'iz min Al al-Rasul.
