الإمام جعفر الصادق (عليه السَّلام ):
عنه عليه السلام : إنّ العَبدَ المُؤمنَ الفَقيرَ لَيَقولُ : يا رَبِّ ، ارزُقْني حتّى أفعَلَ كذا و كذا مِن البِرِّ و وُجوهِ الخَيرِ ، فإذا عَلِمَ اللّهُ عَزَّ و جلَّ ذلكَ مِنهُ بصِدقِ نِيَّةٍ كَتَبَ اللّهُ لَهُ مِن الأجرِ مِثلَ ما يَكتُبُ لَهُ لَو عَمِلَهُ ، إنَّ اللّهَ واسِعٌ كَريمٌ .

A poor believer says to God: My Lord, Provide for me so that I may do such and such good deed. So if Allah knows that he is saying this in all sincerity, He writes down for him the same reward that He would write if he actually did that good deed. Allah is indeed all-bounteous, and generous.
