The history of Wahhabism is a dark one where they have destroyed the pure image of Islam by committing ruthless murders under the pretense that this is their way of eradicating Shirk.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as)

الْعُلَمَاءَ هِمَّتُهُمُ الرِّعَايَةُ وَ السُّفَهَاءُ هِمَّتُهُمُ الرِّوَايَةُ.

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ عليه السلام عَنِ التَّوْحِيدِ، فَقُلْتُ: أَتَوَهَّمُ‏ شَيْئاً؟ فَقَالَ‏: «نَعَمْ، غَيْرَ مَعْقُولٍ، وَ لَا مَحْدُودٍ، فَمَا وَقَعَ وَهْمُكَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ شَيْ‏ءٍ، فَهُوَ خِلَافُهُ‏، لَايُشْبِهُهُ شَيْ‏ءٌ، وَ لَا تُدْرِكُهُ الْأَوْهَامُ، كَيْفَ تُدْرِكُهُ الْأَوْهَامُ وَ هُوَ خِلَافُ مَا يُعْقَلُ، وَ خِلَافُ مَا يُتَصَوَّرُ فِي الْأَوْهَامِ؟! إِنَّمَا يُتَوَهَّمُ‏ شَيْ‏ءٌ غَيْرُ مَعْقُولٍ وَ لَا مَحْدُودٍ.
