الإمام علي (عليه السَّلام):
ما العَدُوُّ إلى عَدُوِّهِ أسْوأَ تَضْيِيعا مِن الأحمَقِ إلى نَفْسِهِ.
A person does not ruin his enemy worse than a fool ruins himself.
