You see, with an art, with a taste, by presenting the speech in a special way, it makes the heart aware. This is poetry. The importance of poetry is this. This is also the behavior of the imams (peace be upon them) who strengthened the call to poetry. They were not only imams; Their opposites were the same. That is, the Umayyad and Abbasid caliphs needed poetry for the advancement of their work, and they paid exorbitant amounts of money to poets to recite poetry for them. Poets also said! It was money, it was a bribe; Even sometimes some poets inclined to Ahl al-Bayt wrote a poem for them in order to get some money! Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) was sitting in a meeting, "Katheer Azza" - who is one of the famous Arab poets and was inclined towards Ahl al-Bayt - was also in the meeting. They turned to the Prophet and said to him, "Abd al-Malik's death?" Did you praise Abdul Malik? They blamed him. He tried to apologize. He said that I did not say anything in praise of Abdul Malik to him; I didn't say you are Imam al-Huda, I didn't say what you are. He smiled and did not say anything. In the meantime, Komit stood up from the other side of the assembly, he composed his famous ode in praise of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and read: Man Laqalb Matyim Mastham Ghir Ma Sabwa Wa La Ahlam (1)
