الإمام المهدي (عجَّل الله فرَجَه ):

«... إِنَّا غَیرُ مُهْمِلِینَ لِمُرَاعَاتِکمْ وَ لاَ نَاسِینَ لِذِکرِکمْ وَ لَوْ لاَ ذَلِک لَنَزَلَ بِکمُ اَللَّأْوَاءُ وَ اِصْطَلَمَکم اَلْأَعْدَاءُ فَاتَّقُوا اَللَّهَ جَلَّ جَلاَلُهُ» .

Imam al-Mahdi (as):

Surely, we do not neglect your condition nor are we forgetful of your remembrance. Had it not been so, then, terrible calamities would have struck you and your enemies would have destroyed you. So be wary of your duty to Allah, the Exalted.

الإمام الكاظم (عليه السَّلام):

أَدْنَى مَا يُثَابُ بِهِ زَائِرُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع بِشَطِّ الْفُرَاتِ إِذَا عَرَفَ حَقَّهُ وَ حُرْمَتَهُ وَ وَلَايَتَهُ أَنْ يُغْفَرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَ مَا تَأَخَّرَ.

Imam al-Kazim (as):

The lowest reward to be given to the visitor of Hussain’s grave at the river of Euphrates is that his past and future sins will be forgiven, provided that he knows and acknowledges his right, his sanctity and his custodianship.

الإمام جعفر الصادق (عليه السَّلام ):

مَنْ أَتَى قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ (علیه السلام) عَارِفاً بِحَقِّهِ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فِي أَعْلَى عِلِّيِّينَ.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):

Whoever goes to visit the grave of Hussain (AS) with full knowledge and acknowledgment of his right Allah, Mighty and Exalted, will ordain for his place to be in the highest levels of Paradise.

الإمام جعفر الصادق (عليه السَّلام ):

مَنْ لَمْ يَأْتِ قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ (علیه السلام) حَتَّى يَمُوتَ كَانَ مُنْتَقَصَ الْإِيمَانِ مُنْتَقَصَ الدِّينِ إِنْ أُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ كَانَ دُونَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِيهَا.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):

One who does not go to visit the grave of Hussain (AS) until he dies his faith and religion will be defective and if such a person enters Paradise, he will be lower than the believers in rank.

زِيَارَةُ قَبْرِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ «صلى الله علیه و آله» وَ زِيَارَةُ قُبُورِ الشُّهَدَاءِ وَ زِيَارَةُ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ علیه السلام - تَعْدِلُ حَجَّةً مَبْرُورَةً مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ «صلى الله علیه و آله» .

:

Visiting the grave of the messenger of Allah (SAWA) as well as visiting the graves of the martyrs and the grave of Hussain ibn Ali (AS) equals an accepted Hajj performed in the company of the messenger of Allah (SAWA).

َ لَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا فِي زِيَارَةِ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ (علیه السلام) مِنَ الْفَضْلِ لَمَاتُوا شَوْقا.

Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (as):

If people knew the virtue of visiting the grave of Hussain, they would surely die of yearning [for him].

رسول الله (صلی الله علیه و آله):

بى اُنذِرتُم وَ بِعَلىِّ بنِ أبى طالِبِ اهْتَدَیتُم… وَ بِالْحَسَنِ اُعْطیتُمُ الإْحسانُ وَ بِالْحُسَینِ تَسعَدونَ وَ بِهِ تَشقونَ ألا وَ إنَّ الْحُسَینَ بابٌ مِن أبوابِ الْجَنَّهِ مَن عاداهُ حَرَّمَ اللّه‏ُ عَلَیهِ ریحَ الْجَنَّهِ .

The Prophet Muhammad (S):

You have been warned through me, and will be guided through Ali… And through Hassan, you will be bestowed upon with favor, and through Hussain you will be either prosperous or wretched [depending on how you treat him]. Verily, Hussain is a gate from among the gates of Paradise and whoever is hostile towards him, Allah will deprive him of even smelling the fragrance of Paradise.

I will wail for you [O Hussain] morning and evening and I will cry blood instead of tears for you.

تَقَاضَى عَلِيٌّ وَ فَاطِمَةُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص فِي الْخِدْمَةِ فَقَضَى عَلَى فَاطِمَةَ ع بِخِدْمَتِهَا مَا دُونَ الْبَابِ وَ قَضَى عَلَى عَلِيٍّ ع بِمَا خَلْفَه‏ .

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):

Ali and Fatima sought the prophet’s advice about household chores, and the prophet (s) suggested that Fatima should do the chores that are done inside the house and Ali should do the chores that required him to go out.

إِنَّ الْعُلَمَاءَ وَرَثَةُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَ ذَاكَ أَنَّ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ لَمْ يُورِثُوا دِرْهَماً وَ لَا دِينَاراً وَ إِنَّمَا أَوْرَثُوا أَحَادِيثَ مِنْ أَحَادِيثِهِمْ فَمَنْ أَخَذَ بِشَيْ‏ءٍ مِنْهَا فَقَدْ أَخَذَ حَظّاً وَافِراً فَانْظُرُوا عِلْمَكُمْ هَذَا عَمَّنْ تَأْخُذُونَهُ فَإِنَّ فِينَا أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ فِي كُلِّ خَلَفٍ عُدُولًا يَنْفُونَ عَنْهُ تَحْرِيفَ الْغَالِينَ وَ انْتِحَالَ الْمُبْطِلِينَ وَ تَأْوِيلَ الْجَاهِلِينَ.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):

Verily the scholars are the heirs of the prophets. And that is because the prophets did not bequeath gold and silver, rather they bequeathed their words and traditions. And one who grasps any of them has indeed secured an abundant gain. See who it is you take your knowledge from; for there exists, from among us [Ahl al-Bayt] in every generation, just individuals who negate the distortions of extremists, the fabrications of falsifiers and the [false] interpretations of the ignorant ones.
