Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (as):
Allah has a Garden [in paradise] that no one will enter other than three types of people: a man who judges his own self with truth, a man who visits his brother for the sake of Allah, and a man who gives his brother preference over himself for the sake of Allah.

Imam Ali (as):
If a tribulation afflicts you, shield your life with your wealth, and if something detrimental to your religion befalls you, then shield your religion with your life, and know that the ruined man is the one whose religion gets destroyed and the plundered one is he whose religion is plundered.

The Prophet Muhammad (S):
Whoever quenches a believer's thirst with a drink of water when water is easily available, for every drink of water, Allah will give him seventy thousand rewards. And if he quenches his thirst when water is not easily accessible, it is as if he has set free ten slaves from the children of Ishmael.

Imam al-Kazim (as):
Among the rights of a believer upon his fellow believing brother is to satisfy his hunger, cover his body, solve his problems, pay his debt, and when he dies, to substitute him in his family and his children [fulfill their needs on his behalf].
