Hadiths Of The Worst of All People

رسول الله (صلی الله علیه و آله):

خَيْرُ النَّاسِ مَنِ انْتَفَعَ بِهِ النَّاسُ وَ شَرُّ النَّاسِ مَنْ تَأَذَّى بِهِ النَّاسُ وَ شَرٌّ مِنْ ذَلِكَ مَنْ أَكْرَمَهُ النَّاسُ اتِّقَاءَ شَرِّه‏ .

The Prophet Muhammad (S):

The best of people is the one whom people benefit from and the worst of people is the one by whom people are tormented, and even worse than that is when people respect someone in an attempt to remain safe from his evil.

الإمام علي (عليه السَّلام):

أَعْدَلُ النَّاسِ مَنْ أَنْصَفَ مَنْ ظَلَمَهُ ، أَجْوَرُ النَّاسِ مَنْ ظَلَمَ مَنْ أَنْصَفَهُ .

Imam Ali (as):

The most just person is the one who maintains fairness to someone who has wronged him, and the most unjust person is the one who wrongs someone who has been fair to him.

قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لِيَأْذَنْ بِحَرْبٍ مِنِّي مَنْ آذَى عَبْدِيَ الْمُؤْمِنَ وَ لْيَأْمَنْ غَضَبِي مَنْ أَكْرَمَ عَبْدِيَ الْمُؤْمِن .‏

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):

Allah, Mighty and Exalted, says: 'He who harms a believing servant of Mine must expect a war waged by Me, and he who honors a believing servant of Mine is safe from My wrath.'

رسول الله (صلی الله علیه و آله):

مَنْ تَوَلَّى خُصُومَةَ ظَالِمٍ أَوْ أَعَانَ عَلَيْهَا ثُمَّ نَزَلَ بِهِ مَلَكُ الْمَوْتِ قَالَ لَهُ أَبْشِرْ بِلَعْنَةِ اللَّهِ وَ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ وَ بِئْسَ الْمَصِير. و قَالَ: مَنْ دَلَّ جَائِراً عَلَى جَوْرٍ كَانَ قَرِينَ هَامَانَ فِي جَهَنَّم‏.

The Prophet Muhammad (S):

The Prophet (SAWA) said: 'He who undertakes the task of an oppressor’s disputation with someone or helps him with it, the angel of death will say to him when descending to seize his soul: ‘Receive the tidings of Allah’s curse and the fire of Hell which is an evil destination.' And he also said: 'One who leads a tyrant towards an act of aggression will be the companion of Haman in Hell.'

الإمام جعفر الصادق (عليه السَّلام ):

إيَّاكُم أن تُعينوا على مسلمٍ مظلومٍ فَيدعُوَ اللّهَ علَيكُم و يُستَجابَ لَهُ فيكُم ، فإنَّ أبانا رسولَ اللّهِ صلى الله عليه و آله كانَ يقولُ: إنَّ دعوةَ المسلمِ المظلومِ مُستَجابةٌ .

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):

Beware of helping someone against an oppressed Muslim lest he make a plea to Allah against you and his plea be answered, for our grandfather, the messenger of Allah (SAWA) used to say: "Verily the plea of a Muslim who has been wronged is answered."

الإمام جعفر الصادق (عليه السَّلام ):

مَن عَذَرَ ظالِما بظُلمِهِ سَلَّطَ اللّهُ علَيهِ مَن يَظلِمُهُ، فإن دَعا لَم يُستَجَبْ لَهُ ، و لَم يَأجُرْهُ اللّهُ على ظُلامَتِهِ .

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):

He who makes up an excuse for an oppressor in his oppression, Allah will give reign over him to someone who will wrong him, and if he prays to Allah, it will not be answered, and Allah will not give him any reward for enduring oppression.

إنّ أعتَى الناسِ على اللّهِ عَزَّ و جلَّ مَن قَتَلَ غَيرَ قاتِلِهِ، و مَن ضَرَبَ مَن لَم يَضرِبْهُ .

The most aggressive of people is he who kills someone other than his killer, or strikes someone other than one who struck him.

الإمام السّجاد (عليه السَّلام):

الإمامُ زينُ العابدينَ عليه السلام ـ و قد ضَمَّ ابنَهُ الباقِرَ عليه السلام إلى صَدرِهِ لَمّا حَضرَهُ المَوتُ ـ : يا بُنَيَّ اُوصِيكَ بما أوصاني بهِ أبي عليه السلام حِينَ حَضَرَتهُ الوَفاةُ ، و بِما ذَكرَ أنّ أباهُ أوصاهُ بهِ ، قالَ : يا بُنَيَّ ، إيّاكَ و ظُلمَ مَن لا يَجِدُ علَيكَ ناصِرا إلاّ اللّهَ .

Imam al-Sajjad (as):

When Imam Ali Zayn al-Abidin (as) was approaching death, he hugged his son al-Baqir (as) close to his chest and said, ‘O my son, I am advising you of the same thing that my father advised me in his will when he was approaching death, and the same thing that he said his father advised him - O my son! Beware of wronging one who has no helper against you but Allah.’
