Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (as):
The Prophet (s) said: 'He has no faith in me who sleeps the night satiated while his neighbour is hungry.' He has also said: 'No sooner do the people in a village sleep at night while there is someone in their midst who is hungry than Allah will not look at them on the Day of Resurrection.'

The Prophet Muhammad (S):
I seek refuge in Allah from a bad neighbor, who keeps an eye on you and whose heart is watching you; if he sees you in a good condition, he becomes upset, and if he sees you in an adverse situation, he becomes happy.

Imam al-Kazim (as):
Our Shi'a (followers) are those who give generously due to [their adherence to] our guardianship, who love each other due to their love for us, who visit each other to preserve our cause, who, when they get angry, do not wrong anyone, and when they are happy, they are not extravagant . They are blessings for their neighbors and at peace with those they associate with.
