Imam al-Kazim (as):
Man should not spend one day without perfuming himself, and if he is not able to do that, then he should perfume himself every other day, and if he cannot do that, then he should do so every Friday without fail.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
Imam al-Sadiq (as) said to Ubayd ibn Ziyad, Verily disclosing a bounty is more liked by Allah than concealing it, so make sure to adorn yourself with the best clothes which your people wear. The narrator says, 'From then on, Ubayd was always seen wearing the best clothes that his people wore.'

The Prophet Muhammad (S):
The Prophet (s), on seeing a man whose hair on his head was dishevelled, whose clothes were dirty, and who had a bad appearance, said, 'It is part of religion to enjoy oneself and to display one's bounties.'
