Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
Allah will not speak to three people on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them, and there is a painful punishment for them: One who unrightfully claims the position of Imamate from Allah, One who rejects an Imam appointed by Allah, and one who assumes that these two have any share in Islam.

Imam Ali (as):
O’ servants of Allah, devote your efforts to taking provision in the short period of this world for the long lasting day of Judgment; for this world is the abode of action, whereas the Hereafter is the abode of [permanent] settlement and Requital [of Deeds].

Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (as):

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
Verily there is a valley in Hell reserved for the arrogant, called Saqar, which complained to Allah, Mighty and Exalted, about its severe heat and asked His permission to breathe. So it breathed, and thus ignited Hell!

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
Who guarantees four things for me, in exchange for four houses in Paradise? Spend in charity and do not fear poverty, spread greetings of peace in the world, abandon disputation even if you are right, and be fair with people in spite of yourself.

Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (as):

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
The person who wakes up in the morning and retires at night having worldly affairs as his greatest concern, Allah places poverty between his eyes, scatters his affairs, and he will not take from this world more than what Allah has apportioned for him.
