Imam Ali (as):

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
Speak good words so you become known for it, and do good so you are considered of its people, and do not be rush and do not reveal secrets. Verily the best of you are those who, upon looking at them, Allah is remembered, and the worst of you are those who spread slander, cause separation among the loved ones and seek to find faults with innocent people.

The Prophet Muhammad (S):
Blessed be every unknown worshipper whom Allah knows but people do not know. They are the lights of guidance and the springs of knowledge. Every dark sedition and obscure matter is uncovered for them. They are not the revealers of secrets nor are they treacherous hypocrites.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
Test our Shia with regard to three things: the prayer times to see how well they observe them, their secrets to see how well they guard them from our enemies, and their wealth to see how they help out their fellow brothers with it.
