Imam Ali (as):

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
There are seven grave sins: intentionally killing a believer, falsely accusing a chaste woman of fornication, fleeing from the midst of a battle, returning to a state of renegation after belief, unjustly usurping the property of the orphan, devouring usury after knowledge of its prohibition, and everything else that Allah has threatened to requite with obligatory punishment in the Fire.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
When a believer brings an accusation against his fellow brother, his faith disappears from his heart like salt disappears in water.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day must not sit in an assembly wherein an Imam is belittled or a believer reproached.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
Whoever relates something about his brother intending to defame him and tarnish his integrity and discredit him in the eyes of people, Allah will bring him out of His guardianship and into that of Satan, but then even Satan will not accept him.
