:
If justice is maintained among people they will become needless, the sky will pour down its sustenance [rain], and the earth will bring out its blessings [plants, fruits and minerals] with the permission of Allah Almighty.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
Calamities are endowments from Allah, and poverty is stored with Allah.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
Taking bribes as a judge or ruler is tantamount to disbelief in Allah.

Imam al-Kazim (as):
Regarding the verse: “and [Allah] revives the earth after its death.” Imam al-Kazim (as) said, Allah revives the earth, not through rain, but by sending men who revive justice and that is how the earth is brought to life by upholding justice. Verily upholding God’s limits is more beneficial for the earth than raining for forty days.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
Justice is more pleasant than water is to a thirsty man. How relieving Justice is when it is maintained even if its little.

Imam al-Kazim (as):
Allah says: I have not made some people rich because they hold a dignified position in My eyes, nor did I make some other poor because they hold an insignificant position in My eyes, rather this was a plan to try the rich ones through the poor ones. Had it not been for the poor ones, the rich ones would not have deserved Paradise.

Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (as):
On the day of resurrection, Allah will command a caller to call out before Him: Where are the poor ones? Then a large number of people will stand. Allah will say: O My servants! They will say: Yes, our Lord. Allah will say: I did not make you poor because you held an insignificant position in My eyes, rather I chose you for a day like this. Search among people, and find those who did good to you for no reason other than My sake and reward them, on My behalf, with Paradise.
