The Prophet Muhammad (S):
The Prophet (SAWA) said: 'He who undertakes the task of an oppressor’s disputation with someone or helps him with it, the angel of death will say to him when descending to seize his soul: ‘Receive the tidings of Allah’s curse and the fire of Hell which is an evil destination.' And he also said: 'One who leads a tyrant towards an act of aggression will be the companion of Haman in Hell.'

Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (as):
Allah has a Garden [in paradise] that no one will enter other than three types of people: a man who judges his own self with truth, a man who visits his brother for the sake of Allah, and a man who gives his brother preference over himself for the sake of Allah.

Imam Ali (as):
The Hand of Allah hovers above the head of the judge with mercy. If he gives unjust rulings, Allah entrusts him to his own self.

Imam Ali (as):
Imam Ali (AS), said to Shurayh (one of his Judges), 'Do not whisper to anyone in your court, and if you get angry, leave and do not judge whilst you are angry.'

Imam Ali (as):
Imam Ali (as) said to Shurayh (One of his judges), 'Beware of showing boredom or irritation in the court of justice, wherein Allah has prescribed a reward and there will be good provision for he who judges rightly.'

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
When a judge passes a verdict in accordance with our rulings but one does not accept it from him, he has indeed taken lightly God's decree and has rejected us [Ahl al-Bayt]. And he who rejects us has in fact rejected God and that is proportionate to ascribing partners to God [Shirk].

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
Any believer who takes another believer to an unjust judge or ruler that they may resolve a dispute and they judge contrary to Allah’s decree, is as though he has partaken with them in the sin.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
Imam al-Sadiq (as), with regard to two of his companions who went to be judged before a tyrant in a dispute they had about a loan or inheritance, said, 'Whoever goes to be judged before a tyrant and he judges in favour of one of them, whatever he is compensated is unlawful, even if it was rightfully his, because he took it by judgment of a tyrant when Allah has ordered him to reject the tyrant.'
