الراحِمونَ يَرحَمُهُم الرّحمنُ تباركَ و تعالى، ارحَمُوا مَن في الأرضِ يَرحَمْكُم مَن في السماءِ.
The Prophet Muhammad (S):
The All-Merciful, Blessed and most High, has mercy on those who are merciful (towards others). Have mercy on the dwellers of the earth and the [Lord of the] Heavens will have mercy on you.

مَنْ قَصَّرَ فِى الْعَمَلِ ابْتُلِيَ بِالْهَمِّ وَ لَا حَاجَةَ لِلَّهِ فِيمَنْ لَيْسَ لِلَّهِ فِى مَالِهِ وَ نَفْسِهِ نَصِيبٌ
Imam Ali (as):
Whoever falls short of actions falls into grief, and Allah has nothing to do with him who spares nothing from his wealth in the name of Allah

للدّابّةِ على صاحِبِها سِتُّ خِصالٍ: يَعْلِفُها إذا نَزلَ، وَ يَعْرِضُ علَيها الماءَ إذا مَرَّ بهِ، وَ لا يَضْرِبُها إلّا على حقٍّ، وَ لا يُحَمّلُها ما لا تُطيقُ ، وَ لا يُكلّفُها مِن السَّيرِ إلّا طاقَتَها، وَ لا يَقِفُ علَيها فُواقاً.
The Prophet Muhammad (S):
The animal has six rights over its owner: once the owner has dismounted the animal he should allow it to graze, he should give it access to water if they pass by it, he should not hit the animal except when it truly deserves it, he should not burden it with a load that it cannot bear, he should not overtask it with a journey that it cannot endure and he should not sit on it for lengthy periods of time.

ما رأيتُ ظالِماً أشْبَهَ بمظلومٍ من الحاسِدِ؟ نَفَسٌ دائمٌ، وَ قَلبٌ هائمٌ، وَ حُزنٌ لازِمٌ

I have not seen a wrong-doer resemble a wronged person more than the jealous one: he has an exhausted spirit, a wandering heart, and an inherent sorrow.
