في بيانِ حُقوقِ المؤمنِ على المؤمنِ: أيْسَرُ حقٍّ مِنها أنْ تُحِبَّ لَهُ ما تُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِكَ، وَ تَكْرَهَ لَهُ ما تَكْرَهُ لِنَفْسِكَ.
Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
Expounding on the rights of the believer upon the fellow believer, Imam al-Sadiq (as) said, 'The simplest of these rights is to love for him what you love for yourself, and to dislike for him what you dislike for yourself.

أعْرَفُ النّاسِ بحُقوقِ إخْوانِهِ وَ أشَدُّهُم قَضاءً لَها أعْظَمُهُم عِند اللّهِ شَأناً.
Imam Hasan al-‘Askari (as):
The person who best knows the rights of his brethren and is the most diligent of all at fulfilling them is the one who has the greatest esteem in the sight of Allah.

مِن حقِّ المؤمنِ على أخيهِ المؤمنِ أن يُشْبِعَ جَوْعَتَهُ، وَ يُواريَ عَورَتَهُ، وَ يُفرِّجَ عَنهُ كُرْبَتهُ، وَ يَقْضيَ دَيْنَهُ، فإذا ماتَ خَلَفَهُ في أهلِهِ وَ وُلدِهِ.
Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (as):
Among the rights of the believer upon his fellow believing brother is to satisfy his hunger, cover his body, solve his problems, pay his debt, and when he dies, to substitute him in his family and his children.

مَن عَظّمَ دِينَ اللّهِ عظّمَ حقَّ إخْوانِهِ، وَ مَنِ اسْتَخَفَّ بدِينهِ اسْتَخَفَّ بإخْوانِهِ.
Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
He who honors the religion of Allah honors the right of his brethren, and he who takes His religion lightly takes [the right of] his brethren lightly.
