التّاجرُ الجَبانُ مَحرومٌ، وَ التّاجرُ الجَسورُ مَرزوقٌ.

رسول الله (صلی الله علیه و آله):
مَن باعَ وَ اشْتَرى فلْيَجْتَنِبْ خَمسَ خِصالٍ، وَ إلّا فلا يَبيعَنَّ وَ لا يَشْتَرِيَنَّ: الرِّبا، وَ الحَلْفَ، وَ كِتْمانَ العَيبِ، وَ الحمدَ إذا باعَ، وَ الذَّمَّ إذا اشْتَرى.
The Prophet Muhammad (S):
Whoever sells or buys must avoid five habits, or he should not sell or buy at all: usury, [false] oaths, hiding the defects [of merchandise], praising what he sells, and showing disapproval for what he intends to buy.

الإمام علي (عليه السَّلام):
تَعرَّضوا للتِّجاراتِ، فإنّ لَكُم فيها غِنىً عمّا في أيْدي النّاسِ، وَ إنّ اللّهَ عزّ وجلّ يُحِبُّ المُحتَرِفَ الأمينَ.
Imam Ali (as):
Practice the various trades, for there is in them independence for you from what is in the hands of others, and indeed Allah loves the one gainfully engaged in a profession.
