Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as): Imam al-Sadiq (as) was asked about noble moral traits, to which he replied, Pardoning someone who has oppressed you, repairing broken ties, giving to the one who has deprived you, and speaking the truth even if it is against yourself. Ma’āni-l Akhbār
