Imam al-Sajjad (as): Asking for the fulfilment of one's needs from people degrades one's life, does away with one's modesty, and makes a mockery of one's own dignity and it is a ready poverty in itself, whereas refraining from seeking fulfilment of one's needs from people is ready wealth in itself.
