Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (as): If you wish to know if there is good in you, then look at your heart; If you feel in your heart love for those obedient to Allah and hate for those disobedient to Him, then there is good in you and Allah loves you. However, if you feel in your heart hate for those obedient to Allah and love for those disobedient to Him, then there is no good in you and Allah hates you; and a man will be raised with those he loves. al-Kāfī
