Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as): Regarding the verse: “and be good to parents” Imam al-Sadiq (as) said, "Being good to parents means that you keep company with them kindly, and do not give them the trouble of asking you for what they need [do not wait until they ask you for their needs] even if they happen to be rich." al-Kāfī
