Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as): Verily when a man asks me for his need, I hasten to fulfill it fearing that his need gets fulfilled and he will no longer be in need of my help. (I may lose the opportunity to help him) ‘Uyūn Akhbār al-Riḍā (‘alahi-salām)
