Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as): Whichever one of our brothers comes to one of our followers (Shia) and seeks help from him regarding a need and he does not help him, Allah will afflict him by fulfilling the need of one of our enemies, and for that Allah will punish him on the Day of Resurrection.
