Imam Ali (as): [Giving condolences to Ash'ath ibn Qays on the death of his son, Imam Ali said:] O Ash'ath! If you endure, Allah's decree will come upon you but in that case, you will receive the reward, whereas if you lose patience, Allah's decree will overtake you anyway but in that case you will have committed a sin.
