Imam Ali (as): Offering condolences to some persons upon the death of a loved one, ʿAlī said: This matter has not begun with you and will not end with you. Your friend used to travel, so think of him as being away on one of his journeys. If he does not come back to you, you will go forward to meet him. Nahj al-Balāgha
