Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as): When Imam al-Sadiq (as) was asked whether or not farming was [religiously] detested, he said, 'Engage in planting [trees] and cultivating [crops], by Allah no occupation is more pure and permissible than it. By Allah plants will be cultivated and trees will be planted even after the emergence of Dajjal.' al-Kāfī
