Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as): When you finish your prayer, say: O Allah, I beseech You to protect me from acts of disobedience to You, and do not leave me to myself, as long as I live, even for a blink of an eye, for the [carnal] soul indeed commands [men] to evil, unless You have mercy, O most merciful of the merciful. al-Kāfī
