Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as): A man came to the prophet (s) asking for some advice. The prophet (s) said, 'Do not associate anything with Allah, even if you are tortured and burnt in the fire and always have your heart rest securely in faith. And do obey your parents and be good to them whether they are alive or have passed away.' al-Kāfī
