Imam Ali (as): I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, the One, who has no partner; a testimony whose sincerity has been tested, in whose essence we believe. we shall cling to it as long as we live, and preserve it for the hardships that we are to face; for it is the source of strength in our faith, the first step towards good deeds and Allah’s pleasure, and the means for driving Satan away.
