Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as): One day, this world appeared before Jesus (PBUH) in the guise of a beautiful, celestial woman. Jesus asked her: How many times have you married? She said: Numerous times. He asked: Did they all divorce you? She said: No, I killed all of them! Jesus said: Woe to your current husbands! How could they not consider the fate of those who have come before them?
