الإمام جعفر الصادق (عليه السَّلام ):
لا يَنبَغي للمؤمنِ أن يُذِلَّ نفسَهُ، قيلَ لَهُ: وكيفَ يُذِلُّ نَفسَهُ؟ قالَ: يَتَعَرَّضُ لِما لايُطيقُ فَيُذِلُّها.
信士不应自卑。”有人问：“何为自卑？”他说：“自卑就是做事不自量力，从而遭受屈辱。
