رسول الله (صلی الله علیه و آله):
إِنَّ الشَّدِيدَ لَيْسَ مَنْ غَلَبَ النَّاسَ وَ لَكِنَّ الشَّدِيدَ مَنْ غَلَبَ نَفْسَه .
پهلوان كسى نيست كه بر مردم چيره شود، بلكه پهلوان كسى است كه بر نفْس خود چيره شود.
