الإمام علي (عليه السَّلام):
أَعْدَى عَدُوٍّ لِلْمَرْءِ غَضَبُهُ وَ شَهْوَتُهُ فَمَنْ مَلَكَهُمَا عَلَتْ دَرَجَتُهُ وَ بَلَغَ غَايَتَهُ.
Imam Ali (as):
Man's greatest enemy is his rage and lust, and he who suppresses them will make his status elevate and will reach his goal.
