الْوَفَاءُ لِأَهْلِ الْغَدْرِ غَدْرٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَ الْغَدْرُ بِأَهْلِ الْغَدْرِ وَفَاءٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ

Imam Ali (as):

Being loyal to treacherous people is itself an act of treachery in the sight of God, whereas being faithless to them is an act of loyalty with God.

الإمام السّجاد (عليه السَّلام):

إنّ أبْغضَ النّاسِ إلَى اللّه مَن يَقْتَدي بسُنّةِ إمامٍ و لا يَقتدي بأعمالِهِ .

Imam al-Sajjad (as):

The most hated of people by Allah is one who considers himself the follower of the Sunnah of an Imam, but doe’s not actually follow him in his actions.

إِذَا رَأَيْتَ اللَّهَ يُؤْنِسُكَ بِخَلْقِهِ وَ يُوحِشُكَ مِنْ ذِكْرِهِ فَقَدْ أَبْغَضَكَ

If you see that God has made you intimate with His creation and banished you from His remembrance, then He has despised you.

إنَّ اللّهَ تَباركَ و تعالى يَقولُ: مَن أهانَ لي وَليّاً فقد أرْصَدَ لمُحارَبَتي، و أنا أسرَعُ شَي ءٍ إلى نُصْرَةِ أوْليائي.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):

Verily Allah, Blessed and most High, says, 'He who insults a friend of Mine has indeed set himself up to fight Me, and I am the fastest to come to the aid of My friends.
